To Any and Every Pro-Choice or Social Justice-loving Individual:

Honest questions with no intention of disrespect:

How is it possible to support freedom of choice in abortion but not in healthcare?

Why is it that I should have the right to choose whether to kill an unborn child, yet not have the right to passively allow someone else to die by not supporting the allocation of tax dollars to healthcare reform?

Why should I have the right to kill an unborn child, yet not have the right to choose not to purchase healthcare for myself?

(Again, honest questions with no intention of disrespect, but asked with pure curiosity in trying to understand human logic)

  1. I'd like to respond with a question of my own, that I've been pondering over:

The constitution gives all Americans a right to "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." While it is made plane that you have a right only to pursue happiness, rather than attain it, I notice that no such qualifier is applied to the previous two. That being said, does one's right to life assume a right to basic health care?

Don't get me wrong - I don't like for a second what the dems are doing to healthcare, but is there even a grain of truth in that stack of economy-busting bill?
